For the last 18 years we have been working closely with the local Wildlife Centre near Nantwich, helping to rehome any ferrets that come in to their care.
We have to adhere to a number of strict guidelines to enable us to board and rehome ferrets from the Wildlife Centre, along with any ferrets handed in by members of the public.
We have lots of ferrets needing homes, and South Cheshire is very close the M6 motorway, meaning we are within easy reach of Cheshire, Manchester, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Lancashire and many more.
*Kits will be vaccinated and micro chipped. New owner will be given a neutering voucher to bring the kit back for neutering when he/she is 6 months or older. Neutering will be done at RSPCA Stapeley Grange Wildlife centre in Nantwich, Cheshire.
If your ferret is not old enough to be neutered at the time of adoption you will be given a neutering voucher to bring your kit back to our rescue when they are approx. 7-8 months old and they can be taken to be neutered. The neutering will be done by our vets so you will need to make arrangements with us to get your ferret/s booked in.
You may think these adoption prices are high for kits however these prices are MUCH lower than you would pay at your local vet for vaccinating, micro-chipping and neutering.
We are trying to do what we can to keep the number of abandoned/neglected ferrets to a minimum. By making sure we have all our kits neutered, we hope that in the next few years rescues will not be bursting with unwanted litters and abandoned ferrets. Kits will not leave here until they are 10 weeks old or over and will be nip trained before being rehomed.
