ABOUT US

WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

For the last 20 years, we have been closely collaborating with the local Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre near Nantwich to support their ferret adoption policy by helping to rehome any ferrets that come into their care. We must adhere to a number of strict guidelines to enable us to board and rehome ferrets from the Wildlife Centre, along with any ferrets handed in by members of the public. We have many ferrets needing homes, and being located in South Cheshire, which is very close to the M6 motorway, allows us to easily reach Cheshire, Manchester, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Lancashire, and beyond for our rehoming ferrets.

When considering ferret adoption policy, it's essential to ensure vaccinations are up to date and that medical care is provided. Additionally, micro-chipping is recommended for rehoming ferrets, helping to keep them safe. Neutering is also an important aspect of responsible ferret ownership, particularly for those looking to adopt through South Cheshire Ferret Rescue.

Kits will be vaccinated and microchipped as part of our ferret adoption policy. New owners will receive a neutering voucher to bring the kit back for neutering when he/she is 6 months or older. Neutering will be performed at RSPCA Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre in Nantwich, Cheshire, to support the rehoming ferrets process at South Cheshire Ferret Rescue.

ALL OF OUR FERRETS ARE MICRO-CHIPPED, VACCINATED AND (IF OLD ENOUGH) NEUTERED
